My life's about to explode.

I have five days of my high school career left. And they don't really count as actual school. So let me rephrase this. I have five more days of hanging out with my friends in random class rooms in which I can only stay for a certain amount of time before we continue on to a new class room.

I don't know if I'm ready for this.

Next fall, I am attending the University of Montana Missoula. I'm very excited about this next step in my adventure called life. I'm just not too sure if I'm ready for the steps leading up to leaving. This summer is going to be crazy busy. Seriously.
I will, when I'm actually in town, be working at my dad's dental office again this summer, as the secretary's assistant. I copy paper, shred paper, file paper, organize paper, and whatever else you can do with paper. I've been working here the last couple summers doing the same things. Maybe this year, because I'm 18, I'll be able to answer phones and help schedule people! We'll have to see about that.

This summer I am quite busy. I made it to the HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) National Competition for the second year in a row. This year it will be held in Orlando, Florida in non other than Disney World. I'm completely excited in every way possible. I'll be there for two weeks in June with my best friend and some of my other favorite people. Plus, it's Disney World.

But all of that is not what I'm really excited for. This summer I got accepted into a month long internship with Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski. I shall be in Washington D.C. for 4 weeks! I'll be with 9 of my fellow Alaskan 2012 high school graduates, staying in a dorm room, and working in various parts of the capitol. I'm so very excited! I get to go on tours also! AHHHHH!!!! My girly scream cannot stay put. This will be the time of my life!!!

Graduation: 1 week
Last Day of School: 5 days
Summer 2012: coming shortly to a theater near you

Until next time...
